Cocktails fit for a Queen Bee!

Add a touch of local sweetness to your next happy hour! Made with pure Minnesota Grown honey, these delightful cocktails offer two simple and refreshing ways to quench your thirst while supporting local beekeepers.

Apiary Berry Refresher

Ingredients:

  • 1 large or 2 small strawberries (about 1/4 cup)
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz honey
  • 1 1/2 oz vodka or your preferred non-alcoholic spirit
  • 2 oz soda water
A highball glass with a strawberry filled cocktail. In the background is a jar of honey.

Directions:

  1. In a 12 oz highball glass, gently muddle together berries, lemon juice, and honey. If you don't have a muddler, use the back of a large spoon to slightly mash the berries and mix the honey into the juices.
  2. Fill the glass with ice.
  3. Add the vodka or non-alcoholic spirit and top with soda water.
  4. Stir gently to combine and garnish with a berry or twist of lemon.

Summer Spritzzz!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz Campari
  • 1 oz honey simple syrup*
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • 4 oz soda water
A wine glass filled with a dark pink cocktail garnished with an orange slice.

Directions:

  1. Fill a large wineglass or highball glass with ice. (We used a 22 oz wine glass.)
  2. Pour over the Campari, honey syrup, orange and lemon juice.
  3. Top with soda water and stir gently to combine.
  4. Garnish with an orange or lemon slice.

*To make honey simple syrup, dissolve 1/4 cup honey into 1/4 cup of hot water and stir until the honey is dissolved. This will make enough syrup for four of the the above cocktials.
