Maple Vinaigrette

This simple dressing is sweet, tangy, and delicious on a spring salad. We drizzled it over spring greens topped with maple candied nuts and crumbled goat cheese. Add grilled chicken, crispy bacon, or hard-boiled eggs for a fresh and hearty spring lunch.

Overhead shot of a green salad with pecans and goat cheese. In the upper left corner is a jar of candied nuts and spoon filled with dressing hovers over the salad.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in an 8 to 16-ounce jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  2. Screw the lid on the jar tightly and shake vigorously for 60-90 seconds to combine and emulsify the dressing.
  3. Drizzle over your salad of choice!

Note: Separation is natural over time – simply put the lid back on the jar and shake again to combine.
