Minnesota Grown is providing meat processors with the opportunity to participate in a federally-funded customer satisfaction survey in spring of 2018. This is the first time such an opportunity has been available to meat processors! Other industries have had the opportunity and here's what past farmers and producers who participated in previous research projects had to say:
"I know how much work a survey like this involves and I can't tell you how useful it will be. I can't imagine that any other state has done a survey as comprehensive as this one. The survey was very well thought out and the questions well-constructed."
“Loved having it all ready to go. Just signed-up through Minnesota Grown with my simple contact information, and then next thing I know I have all the cards sent to me, the survey made, with some great questions, and super simple directions on how to get started! No work on my part. So thanks again for everything!”
After recent presentations of results to producers in other industries, we polled the participants:
- 93% of growers indicated they would make changes to their marketing strategies based on the information presented as a result of this research.
- 100% of growers indicated they would like to continue this research in another 4 - 5 years.
Participating meat processors will receive a confidential, individualized report about their customers. They will also receive a state-wide aggregate report to use in bench-marking their results against others in the state. Some of the things you will learn are:
- Who are your customers?
- What are their expectations?
- What are their spending habits?
- Where do they get their information?
Get the answers to these questions and more directly from your customers!
What do I have to do?
- Tell us “Yes!”: Sign up by January 19, 2018 at http://tiny.cc/meatprocessor
- Give customers cards: Give each customer a card directing them to the online survey.
- Donate a credit to one customer: Each meat processor donates a $25 credit to be awarded to one of their survey participants.
This Minnesota Grown opportunity is open to meat processors in Minnesota.
