Course Description: In a world where access to healthcare and supplies can change quickly, knowing how to care for yourself, family, or close circle with natural, botanical medicine is a powerful form of resilience.  This immersive workshop will offer ways to create an herbal first aid kit and plan what a self-reliant home herb apothecary may look like for everyday ailments and uncertain times.

Through guided instruction, hands-on preparation, and practical discussion, you’ll learn how to choose versatile natural and botanical remedies to have at hand.  We’ll also cover planning an apothecary for your home and personal needs. Explore accessible herbs, pantry supplies, and simple formulations for common ailments in a thoughtful manner with a well-versed herbal clinician.

You’ll walk away with:

  • 2-3 natural botanical remedies you’ll make in class to begin stocking your kit
  • Several teas to begin stocking your home herb apothecary
  • Skills to continue building your herbal supplies with confidence

This workshop welcomes beginners and those who have more extensive herbalism experience.

All are welcome – WEI classes are open to everyone.

Please Bring: A tote or kit bag from home for your botanical remedies. A $15 materials fee (cash) paid directly to the instructor.
