Resilience and Nourishment in Challenging Times

Course Description: Times of uncertainty call for deeper nourishment of body, mind, and spirit. This workshop offers a restorative, empowering, and nature-based approach to building resilience by weaving together herbalism, nourishing foods, nervous system care, and grounding practices that sustain us through challenge and change.
Participants will learn about herbs to strengthen the body, support well-being, and cultivate inner steadiness. We’ll explore adaptogens, tonics, and calming herbs, alongside simple practices that build a sense of groundedness and vitality over time. For lunch, the class will share a farm-to-table meal that incorporates certified organic produce from WEI’s Amador Hill Farm and other local growers committed to producing nourishing, nutrient-dense foods using sustainable and environmentally regenerative farming practices.
Through experiential learning, reflective practices, nature immersion, and a hands-on herb handcrafting project, you’ll gain tools you can use immediately to restore inner and outer balance, fostering resilience in your daily life. You’ll also be creating a personal “Resilience and Nourishment Plan” for times of stress.
This workshop welcomes all, whether you are navigating personal transition, feeling the weight of collective stress, caregiving, or simply seeking a more rooted and nourished way of living.
All are welcome – WEI classes are open to everyone.
