Homegrown Harvest Dinner: A Feast for the Future of Local Farming

Fresh flavors, live music, and community spirit will be on the table at the Homegrown Harvest Dinner on Saturday, September 13, 2025, hosted by the Cannon River Chapter of the Sustainable Farming Association (SFA) at Ferndale Market in Cannon Falls.

This first annual farm-to-table celebration unites local restaurants, farmers, and food artisans to create a multi-course feast featuring the best of southeastern Minnesota’s harvest. Every bite supports the Farmer-to-Farmer Fund, a lifeline providing quick-turnaround relief to local farmers facing crises such as weather disasters, medical emergencies, or equipment loss.

Guests will enjoy a seasonal menu crafted from locally grown and raised ingredients, along with the opportunity to meet the farmers and producers behind the plates. Ferndale Market will be open before and after the event so guests can shop for fresh, local foods to take home.
