The City of Big Lake is launching a winter farmer’s market for the first time this year! Fresh produce vendors are of high interest, but all types of vendors are welcome. The market will be held Fridays from 3PM-6PM at Saron Lutheran Church (311 Lake St S) on the following dates: 12/22, 1/19, 2/23, 3/23, and 4/20. The Hopkins Winter Farmers Market will be open on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, November 4th - December 16th. The market is located at the Hopkins Activity Center (33 14th Ave N, Hopkins, MN). Call Gwen at (952) 583-1930 for further information.
The Minnetonka Farmers Market is trying a winter market on Saturday, Dec. 16 and Saturday, Feb. 10 from 9AM – 1PM in the Minnetonka Community Center.
Beyond the winter market, Minnetonka Farmers Market is always looking for new vendors. The summer/fall market runs from mid-June through September and is held on Tuesdays, from 3-7 p.m. on the Minnetonka Community Center Campus. Applications for 2018 will be available on their website by the end of January.
Sprout Growers and Makers Market – Little Falls
Sprout’s Growers and Makers Market will be held throughout the winter in Little Falls (609 13th Avenue NE, Door 8). Vendors can come to one or all market dates with no annual commitment. The market will be open 10 AM-3PM on the following Saturdays: Nov 13, Dec 9, Jan 27, Feb 24, Mar 24.
