You may have had cabbage in Minnesota favorites such as sauerkraut and coleslaw, but have you had it in stir fry or kimchi? Cabbage can be prepared in so many ways!

Cabbage is a very hardy vegetable and can stand cool temperatures, allowing it to grow earlier in the spring and longer into the fall. It also can be stored in a cold (32 degrees F), moist place for up to 5 months. In the refrigerator, cabbage will last around two weeks. It can be steamed, shredded, sautéed, or fermented.
