In summer you may be swimming in fresh basil, but what about the coming cold months? Join Veronica to learn how to have a flavorful winter, too! You will begin with an introduction to the harvest and use of fresh herbs, and of course sampling a host of herbs. Veronica will also cover best practices for preserving each kind of herb for the winter. The class will finish with making and tasting delicious recipes such as herb butter blends, herb mustard, and herb cream cheese stuffed nasturtiums, and tomato basil tidbits. You will leave with recipes, herbal snacks to share at home, and an excitement to use culinary herbs in your everyday cooking.
