Farm Transition Event

Join the Farmland Access Hub, Renewing the Countryside, and the Region Nine Development Commission on Sunday, September 10^th from 2 -5 pm to learn about financial and technical resources to help you achieve your farm transition goals! This event will be held at My MN Farmer in Montgomery,  Minnesota as they are hoping to make their land and infrastructure available to the next generation of sustainable farmers. The first half of the event will feature presentations and Q&A with representatives from the Farm Service Agency (FSA), the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Compeer Financial and local estate planning lawyers. The second half of the event will be time for landowners and land seekers to engage in facilitated conversations about their wants, needs, and barriers for accessing or passing on farmland. The event will conclude with time for landowners and land seekers to network about accessing farmland in south central Minnesota.
