The day begins around 10 o’clock in the morning when we prepare apples for a press. This involves removing the unwanted parts. The 1940 press can handle up to 2000 pounds in a single press, in roughly 40 minutes. The cider juice is free.
In the meantime, the orchard is open for U-pick, there are apple brats (our apples) and other treats available throughout the day, including apple pie!
