The long term objective of the Tomato Project is to answer a simple question: what is a nutrient dense tomato? To answer that question we must take a deep dive into minerals and microbes in the soil. You are invited to join us for a day of teaching, tomato tasting, a plot tour and a delicious meal. This year we are featuring 51 different varieties, including 38 heirlooms, 12 hybrids and one “heirloom in the making.” See how we are utilizing tensiometers and liquid nutrient injectors to optimize water distribution and maintain soil conductivity. We intend to show how to increase the fruit density in a fixed space utilizing a new and extreme HORIZONTAL trellising system! Valuable to greenhouse growers or home gardeners with limited space. Come join us for an exciting day of teaching, great food, fresh tomato tasting and an onsite tour of the Tomato Project! Click here to register for the event.
