Learn how to raise chickens in your own backyard!  Whether you already have a flock or are thinking of starting one you will learn something new in this class with Rob Czernik.  Topics covered include choosing a breed, housing, feeding, care, and city rules.

Rob Czernik is a Permaculture designer and teacher, and runs Powderhorn Feed Co. in South Mpls. Rob keeps chickens and works with small farmers to provide the best grains for backyard flocks. His presentations are informative and empowering — you’ll come away ready to bring a flock to your own backyard!

This class is part of the Urban Homestead Series brought to you by the St. Paul Public Library, Growing West Side and Frogtown Green.  Click here for more information on other classes in the series.
